Artsy Staycation @ Yello Hotel Harmoni

One of the easiest trips to do when you’re in the city is staying in a hotel! I do this frequently, especially when I only have the weekends but still want to get out of home. You can save your money because you do not have to travel far, yet still have the different kind of staying experience. Yello Hotel Harmoni in Jakarta is my staycation destination in this post.

I love how the staffs say “Yello!” to you instead of “Hello!”

I am all about colorful things, maybe that is why I am very much in love with Yello Hotel’s interior. It is vibrant, and of course as the name Yello, it has very strong bright yellow tone vibe. I love the decor and their choices of furniture. I can tell the designer put a lot of thoughts into it. If you love artsy stuff and splash of colors, I would highly suggest this hotel.

All fun and playful here.
What’s not to love about the decor?

The net booth! They provide wifi in each hotel rooms, but I sure do fancy the net booth in their lobby.

The room is clean and tidy, with this mural I love very much above the bed head board. The room provides mini refrigerator, and electric kettle with complimentary coffee and tea. These are important because I love bringing snacks from outside the hotel! Haha. Moreover, the room also has sofa on the corner of the room and a writing desk and a chair, so you can also bring your laptop to work here.

Location-wise, it couldn’t get any better. Yello Hotel is on the 7th floor of Harmonie Exchange building, with direct access to the HXC lifestyle mall. It is a quite rather new mall, but they already have few tenants opened such as Raa Cha, Ichiban Sushi, Ta Wan, Bengawan Solo Coffee, etc. Talking about food sources just couple of steps from your hotel room door!

I would also highly recommend this hotel if you have any friends from outside Jakarta who are in town. Yello Hotel is located just walking distance to Trans Jakarta Harmoni Central bus stop, so I imagine it would be easier for them to roam the city with the bus and save so much time.

Another thing I am very impressed with Yello Hotel is their breakfast menu! Let me be honest, from my experience, most hotels in Jakarta area with the same range of price just doesn’t provide breakfast menu like Yello Hotel do. Yello Hotel provides breakfast buffet menu which I think very worth the price. They have menus varied from cereal, salads, European breakfast (sausages, fish fillets, baked beans, etc), Indonesian breakfast (rice porridge, fried rice, eggs, etc), muffins, fresh fruits, and beverages from juices to coffee and tea. The breakfast buffet is from 6 AM to 10 AM. I suggest you to go before 8 AM, cause after that time the restaurant will be a little crowded. They have a large seating area though so no need to worry about not getting any seat.

If you stay on a long weekend like I did, Yello Hotel have free access to the pool in Harris Hotel (Harris Hotel is also in the same building, the pool is on the 5th floor). Yello Hotel also provide meeting rooms, and gym too.

The restaurant area.

They have murals everywhere.

Thank you Yello Hotel for the lovely experience! Can’t wait for the next staycation!
